Research Tech 3 Institute for Healthy Aging
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Obtaining, storing and shipping specimens that includes drawing blood and additional specimens as required by research protocol.
Has a thorough knowledge of the research protocols and serves as a resource person to the clinicians and study coordinators
Administers neuropsychological, lifestyle and physical function tests with participants and patients
Conducts and collects data via interviews
Conducts interviews with caregivers
Extensive off-site travel in the metropolitan Chicago area required
Maintains patient and participant charts including editing for completeness and accuracy
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Phlebotomy skills required
Strong interpersonal skills necessary to interact with a diverse group of people including elderly patients,caregivers, and staff
Must have good organizational skills and ability to prioritize, good judgment and decision-making skills, skill in attending to detail and accuracy in scoring test results
Computer proficiency
Please Note:
Off-site travel within and around the metropolitan Chicago area required
Position is based out of satellite office located in Evergreen Park, Illinois
Must have own transportation to accommodate travel needs
