NURSE PRACTITIONER PEDIATRIC CARDIAC SURGERY
Excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to join the renowned team of Pediatric Cardiac Surgeons at Rush.
The Nurse Practitioner expertly provides and coordinates care for complex patients that includes assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation. You will also provide direct care including specialized procedures, physical assessments, evaluations and patient & family education. In this position you will be an important part of a team providing care to a patient population with a very high acuity level. Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure required plus advanced practice licensure as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Masters degree in Nursing from an NLN accredited school of nursing is required. Three years of post-baccalaureate experience in acute care with pediatric cardiac patients required. We will consider new graduate Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
