Clinical Nurse Coordinator Surgical Telemetry
A progressive surgical telemetry unit. Patient population includes primarily cardiovascular, thoracic, interventional cardiology, and neurosurgical patients. The unit also accommodates some general surgical overflow. Considered a Destination Unit by the National Leadership Advisory Board and received a Course of Excellence Award by the Rush Professional Nursing Staff.
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is an experienced registered nurse with the responsibility and accountability for nursing practice as delegated by the unit director. The CNC provides leadership for nursing staff in collaboration with the unit director.

Demonstrated progressive, proficient management and leadership skills
Baccalaureate degree in nursing or other major.
Critical care experience preferred. ACLS required.
