~SR I S Technical Trainer
The SR IS Technical Trainer is responsible for creating curriculum and associated end-user and facilitator training materials supporting Information Services application installation projects utilizing rigorous and comprehensive design processes. Will also be responsible for training classes.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Create course design documents based on job, task, user, environmental analysis
Develop end-user and facilitator training materials from course design documents
Develop content incorporating SMEs input into clearly written and structured materials
Prioritize critical content and incorporate it in all materials
Create participant-centered training materials supporting course objectives
Adhere to appropriate style guides
Provide facilitation expertise for interactive, activity-driven courses
Co-facilitate with content matter instructors to ensure learning and a cohesive program
Manage classroom and participants to achieve outcomes
Lead activities in a collaborative manner
Coach and give feedback to participants
Remain flexible and adjust activities and content to meet participant profiles
Provide input for modifications to course content and activities
Create and maintain training environment with realistic scenarios for classroom instruction.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in adult education, instructional design, or related field with strong healthcare experience or Bachelor's degree in healthcare field (e.g. nursing) with strong adult education and instructional design experience.
Minimum of three years experience in project management, instructional design, training and development or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading of material for clarity, accuracy, and conciseness
Applying instructional design methodology to create learner-appropriate materials
Interviewing SMEs and consultants to create useful business case studies
Applying instructionally sound and appropriate guidelines for all materials
Solving problems and thinking in an organized, structured way
Demonstrate excellent facilitation, presentation and organization skills
Teaching concepts and principles to support a business process or lifecycle
Excellent PC skills with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PPT) Excel, Access, Project, Publisher)
Knowledge of adult learning theories and ability to incorporate them into class design and delivery
Collaborative, team-oriented, and able to work well with all employees at all levels
Proactive, self-driven, able to work well in an unstructured environment while meeting all deadlines
Ability and desire to work with very detailed information
Excellent verbal and written communication
