$5000.00 Hiring Bonus!
To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be a RHIA, RHIT, or CCS have a minimum of 2 years experience as a coder, and accept a full-time position in the Rush University Medical Center department of Health Information Management.

The Inpatient Coder
Assign ICD-9-CM diagnostic codes to patient charts with accuracy and attention to detail.
Abstract selected data items and enters in codemaster/EPIC software with accuracy and attention to detail.
Maintain a log of work performed.
Complete other assigned duties as directed by management


QUALIFICATIONS:
RHIA, RHIT, and/or CCS Certification Preferred.
1-3 years of Inpatient Coding work experience required.
Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy and physiology required.
