Our 18-bed Gero-Psych unit strives to promote the highest level of functioning, improve coping abilities and provide
education and support to patients with depression, severe anxiety and/or restlessness and memory loss.

Provides nursing care for patient assigned in conjunction with a registered nurse. Communicates patient care information to other members of the health care team. Supports efforts to improve patient care. This position is part-time (48 hours bi-weekly) working 7:00AM - 3:30PM, every other weekend.

Current state of Illinois Practical Nurse license required. Graduate of an approved Practical Nurse Program. 1-2 years experience in geriatric / psychiatric nursing. Long term care nursing experience will also be considered.
