Research Assistant 1 Neurology
The Research Assistant ! will work in laboratory focused on the molecular and cellular mechanisms initiating neurological diseases, with special emphasis on Alzheimer's disease. She/he will be responsible for running biochemical and molecular assays, as well as studying animal models of Alzheimer's disease. Experience or strong interest in Neurosciences and Brain Disorders would be beneficial. The applicant should have experience with computers.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Performing biochemical assays
Performing molecular biology procedures
Performing immunohistochemistry
Collect, record, analyze data
Assisting others in running experiments and collecting data
Ordering supplies
Responsible for general maintenance and organizing of the laboratory

Qualifications:

Experience in a laboratory setting, and degree in Biology, Chemistry or molecular biology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must have the ability to work independently as well as in a group
Excellent organizational skills required
