TEACHER AIDE Laurence Armour Day School (LADS)
The main responsibility for the Teacher Aide- Title V is the supervision of children in for the Laurance Armour Day School.
Responsibilities include:
1. Respond immediately to any child whose safety is in danger.
2. Closely supervise the area or group of children assigned to you.
3. Implement limits established by the classroom team.
4. Manage discipline issues through redirection and positive reinforcement. Corporal punishment and any other humiliating or frightening discipline is not acceptable.
5. Support both group and individualized experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
* The Provision of Title V requires applicant to be least fifty five years of age and meet federal income requirements.
*Hours: 4 hours per day, 5 days per week
*Residency Requirement: The applicant must be an actual resident of the City of Chicago. Proof of residency will be required at the time of application.
* Ages: will work with 4 months to pre K.
