Wonderful opportunity to showcase your consultative abilities throughout the medical center in a key position in our Quality Improvement Department.
The Patient Safety Consultant is an internal consultant for all levels of the Medial Center. Will lead/facilitate performance improvement and patient safety activities which are strategically aligned with the organizational goals using accepted improvement methodologies.
Develops, analyzes and presents data including executive summary reports, balanced score cards, and other reporting formats via committee structures as assigned.
Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure or Clinical Degree required
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s Degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years in an acute health care setting required. Working knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirement
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
Training or experience in Patient Safety and Performance Improvement required
Knowledge of regulatory standards, datasets, and best practice related to healthcare quality and patient safety.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
