Per Diem Inpatient & Outpatient Coders
Position Responsibilities:
Assign ICD-9-CM/CPT-4 diagnostic and procedure codes to patient charts
Abstract selected data items and enters in codemaster/PCIS software
Maintain a log of work performed
Complete other assigned duties as directed by management
Position Qualifications Include:
RHIA, RHIT, and/or CCS Certification
Experience in inpatient medical record coding
Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy and physiology
