APN PEDIATRICS\FACULTY\CLINICAL NURSE 4
In this full time position, you will split your time between your role as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and a College of Nursing Faculty Member.Our 20 bed Peds ICU/Procedural/RecoveryArea and 28 bed General Peds Unit provide care to a wide variety of med/surg peds patients including a growing Cardiovascular/Interventional/ECMO Program. In the APN role you will coordinate the Pediatric Staff Development Program, participate in QI projects as well as Patient Care Improvement Processing and the Peds Nursing Leadership Group. In your faculty role, you will teach content related to pediatric care to pre-licensure and advanced practice nursing students in the classroom, online and clinical settings.
Qualifications include IL RN licensure, MSN with Peds or PICU specialty, CNS or NP licensure and 3 yrs PICU/Peds exp. Cardiology/CV exp. preferred.
