Position highlights:
Case load will be working with Hematology/Oncology in-patients
32-bed stem cell transplant and hematology unit, offers rooms designed for the immunosuppressed patient which are equipped with positive air pressure and HEPA filtration. Multidisciplinary team rounds are conducted daily.
An additional 32 bed unit, focuses on the disease process, complications, symptom management, and pain control of the oncology patient. Inpatient hospice care is available.
Both units work collaboratively to provide the comprehensive services offered by the Rush Cancer Program
Qualifications:
Current Illinois licensure as Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse.
Professional certification as a nurse practitioner required.
CPR, ACLS, PALS certification preferred;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Oncology experience required.
