ANATOMY & CELL BIOLOGY
The Administrative Assistant will provide day-to-day coordination for departmental and academic activities for faculty, students and visitors under direct supervision of the Research Administrator. Solely performs and provides administrative support services such as troubleshooting equipment, scheduling meetings, establishing file systems, updating department website, answering phones, greeting, copying, faxing, mailing, and conducting special projects as assigned.
Knowledge: Proficient with Excel, Word, Power Pont, Access, Photoshop and Reference Manager
Skills: Excellent word processing, document management, organizational, verbal, and written, communication, interpersonal and professional demeanor, and excellent problem solving skills
Abilities: Ability to work both independently and as a team player in an effective and efficient manner, ability to identify and act on and resolve problems in a timely manner, ability to produce error free documents in a timely and efficient manner, including reports, letters, memoranda and related materials
Education: Minimum of associate's degree in a business, management or related area, bachelor's preferred or 3-5 years practical experience in a health or business office preferred. Must have an excellent command of the written English language, to include grammar and spelling
